Killer Squirrels Loose in Park

You are taking a walk in the park and notice a dog barking at the foot of a tree. As you get closer you notice that the dog is barking at some squirrels perched in one of the branches. In most cases the dog would eventually get tired and move along. In Russia, the squirrels jump the dog, attack it as a gang, and kill it, dragging parts of it away to save for dinner time. Then you walk away, making a mental note to feed your cat more often.

From the article in the BBC which I found through BoingBoing:
"A "big" stray dog was nosing about the trees and barking at squirrels hiding in branches overhead when a number of them suddenly descended and attacked, reports say.

"They literally gutted the dog," local journalist Anastasia Trubitsina told Komsomolskaya Pravda newspaper.

"When they saw the men, they scattered in different directions, taking pieces of their kill away with them."
